Please note that no onsite registrations are accepted. Instead, the written exam and road test for motorcycle driving licenses can only be taken online. Registration starts from the date of announcement and ends at 24:00 seven days prior to the test date. Please complete your check-in between 8:00 and 8:30 a.m. at the service window onsite (first-time drivers who intend to get their motor vehicle driver’s license are required to complete their check-in before 8:30 a.m. and participate in a two-hour safety education course).
Save time by completing your registration in advance. To complete the online registration process, just download the “Motor Vehicle Driver Information Service APP” on your smartphone/tablet or go to the official website of the Motor Vehicle Driver Information Service at https://www.mvdis.gov.tw/ → test registration → motorcycle driver’s license → enter registration system to complete the online registration procedure. It is fast and convenient. If you are unable to take the exam after completing registration, please cancel your online registration before 7:00 a.m. on the day of the test at the latest or contact the motor vehicle weekend office by phone within the service hours for cancellation on the day of the test so as not to affect the rights of future registration. Those who fail to make the appointment three times within two months, his/her right for registration shall be suspended for two months (the termination date is calculated from the day of the last registration).
Please bring the original ID card, three 1-inch recent photos taken within the past two years and the application form for the driver's license test (health condition confirmed through physical exam). If you have a traffic violation case, you must first handle it and then apply for online registration. To facilitate the physical exam, we have signed up cooperative contracts with the nearby hospital to conduct the health examination on the day of the test.
